Abstract: The identification of genetic factors that regulate the cancer immune microenvironment is important for understanding the mechanism of tumor progression and establishing an effective treatment strategy. Polycystic kidney and hepatic disease 1-like protein 1 (PKHD1L1) is a large transmembrane protein that is highly expressed in immune cells; however, its association with tumor progression remains unclear. Here, we systematically analyzed the clinical relevance of PKHD1L1 in the tumor microenvironment in multiple cancer types using various bioinformatic tools. We found that the PKHD1L1 mRNA expression levels were significantly lower in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM) and lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) than in normal tissues. The decreased expression of PKHD1L1 was significantly associated with unfavorable overall survival (OS) in SKCM and LUAD. Additionally, PKHD1L1 expression was positively correlated with the levels of infiltrating B cells, cluster of differentiation (CD)-8(+) T cells, and natural killer (NK) cells, suggesting that the infiltration of immune cells could be associated with a good prognosis due to increased PKHD1L1 expression. Gene ontology (GO) analysis also revealed the relationship between PKHD1L1-co-altered genes and the activation of lymphocytes, including B and T cells. Collectively, this study shows that PKHD1L1 expression is positively correlated with a good prognosis via the induction of immune infiltration, suggesting that PKHD1L1 has potential prognostic value in SKCM and LUAD.2024-01-01T00:00:00ZMZ세대의 소비가치가 구매 행동에 미치는 영향 - 방향용 제품 선택속성을 중심으로 -

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine ESG management cases that exemplify the management philosophy and ideology of two companies, LG Household & Health Care and Amorepacific. These companies have recently achieved global success by leveraging K-beauty. Looking at the Korean ESG management report announced on December 1, 2021, this study provides basic data to understand and compare the sustainability of LG Household & Health Care and Amorepacific's cosmetic companies, as well as the current status of ESG management in the cosmetic industry. This study holds significant meaning. According to the management perspective of ESG, a comparison was made between LG Household & Health Care and Amorepacific, considering and analyzing their similarities and differences. First, the ESG characteristics of LG Household & Health Care, a beauty company, were examined. Second, the ESG characteristics of Amorepacific, another beauty company, were analyzed. Third, the commonalities in ESG management between Amorepacific and LG Household & Health Care cosmetics companies were explored. Fourth, the differences in ESG management between Amorepacific and LG Household & Health Care cosmetics companies were examined. What ESG management has in common is the management and improvement of environmental damage, the respect for human rights as a measure of labor and human rights, community contribution activities, fair operation, and fair and transparent management as a measure of business ethics. As it is directly affected by the expansion of value consumption, which takes into account environmental and social impacts beyond product functions, ESG management is now a necessity, not an option anymore. In the future, there is hope that beauty cosmetics companies will adopt ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activity scales based on international standards. It is also expected that these companies will increase their implementation and integration of ESG management practices.2023-12-01T00:00:00ZMZ세대의 뷰티콘텐츠 이용경험과 이용정보 특성에 따른 뷰티관리행동

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the beauty management behavior according to the MZ generation beauty contents use experience and information characteristics. The survey was conducted with a total of 311 women from the MZ generation, and frequency analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and Scheffé test were performed with SPSS WIN 25.0. The results of the study showed that, first, the age of the M generation was high, and second, both validity (0.40) and reliability (0.60) of beauty management behavior were found to be reliable. Third, as a result of analyzing the experience of using beauty contents, the usage time of beauty contents was less than 30 minutes to 1 hour, the number of times of referencing reviews and product purchases was 20 or more, and product introduction and makeup were high in the types of beauty contents. relevance, differentiation, diversity, and benefit all showed significant differences.
Fourth, the results of differences in beauty management behaviors according to the experience of using beauty contents and fifth, the results of differences in beauty management behaviors according to the characteristics of beauty contents usage information showed significant differences by sub-factors. This study is a study of women of the MZ generation, and if a comparative analysis is conducted on all MZ generation who use beauty contents in a follow-up study, better results will be obtained. We want to provide implications and help develop the beauty industry.2022-12-01T00:00:00Z
