키네티시즘의 건축적 해석에 의한 화예디자인 표현 연구

Abstract

Forms of modern art have been represented in various styles, searching for sharing forms or breaking boundary line of genres. The floral art & design also experiences inexplicit demarcation in expression and forms and realms tend to be overlapped. In architecture, series of new concepts on space and advanced technology are emerged, suggesting an experimental plan to introduce a kinetic concept to static architecture and to realize partial movement. With this trend, modern architecture is actively carrying out connection analysis with kineticism. Thus, I tried to analyze and relate the kinetic theory of modern architecture to the floral art & design.

This study classified features of kineticism in the floral art & design in terms of architectural interpretation into as follows; 1) in the introduction of actual movement, expression of temporal and spacial concepts, expression by using non-material sources, expression of works by using bodies, expression of motions of machinery, 2) in the introduction of relative movement, expression by formative change according to movement of audiences, expression of works that trigger movement by audiences, 3) in the introduction of virtual movement, expression of mechanical image, expression of works using light.

I think the floral art & design that has finiteness in temporal changes needs more experimental spirit of artists and active acceptance of attendance, in an attempt to realize diversified and creative floral art works.

I expect that 'we' concept in ‘Our lives are kinetic’ can be introduced to the floral art & design, setting up a concept of the floral art & design and expanding its world as a formative art.
