스마트러닝을 활용한 PBL(Problem-Based Learning) 서양음악사 교수·학습지도안 개발 및 적용

Abstract

본 연구는 스마트러닝을 활용한 PBL(problem-based learning: 이하 PBL) 서양음악사 교수·학습지도안을 개발하여 수업의 효과를 확인하고 급변하는 사회와 교육의 방향에 맞는 음악수업 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 문헌연구 내용을 바탕으로 이경언(2002)이 제시한 PBL 학습 모형에 따라 총 2차시의 PBL 교수·학습지도안을 작성하였다. 지도안과 수업자료를 개발한 후, 서울특별시 J여자고등학교 1학년 3 학급 총 73명의 학생들을 대상으로 수업을 진행했고, PBL 수업의 만족도, 이해도, 흥미도에 대해 설문조사를 하였다. 설문결과와 수업 과정 중 수합된 학생들의 평가지 등 자료들을 종합하여 분석한 결과 학생들은 일반적인 서양음악사 수업보다 스마트러닝을 활용한 PBL 서양음악사 수업에 더 집중하였고, 만족도, 이해도, 흥미도 모두 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 수업평가지 분석 결과 학생들은 수업에 대한 책임감과 협동심을 기를 수 있었으며 포괄적 지식의 습득이 이루어졌다고 파악되어 스마트러닝을 활용한 PBL 서양음악사 수업이 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the lesson plan for high school general music class of history of western music based on PBL (problem-based learning) using smart learning and verify the effectiveness of the class. The PBL lesson plan for two classes were developed based on the PBL model presented by Kyungeon Lee(2002), and teaching materials were also created. The classes were conducted with 73 students of three classes of J Women’s Highschool located in Seoul. After the classes, the survey was conducted to investigate the students’levels of satisfaction, understanding, and interest about the classes. In addition, the students’peer review and self evaluation sheets which were conducted during the classes were analyzed. The results indicated that the PBL music classed of western music history using smart learning were more effective than traditional music class in satisfaction, understanding, and interest, The analysis of students’reviews also presented that students could develop responsibility, cooperation, and comprehensive study of music.
