글로벌 영리더 육성을 위한 Mind Way 코칭모델-도구-프로그램의 개발과 체계화에 관한 연구(1)

Abstract

본 연구는 교육부의 개정교육과정(2015)에서 제시한 교육목표인 창의융합형인재와 제 4차 산업혁명에 따라 요구되는 글로벌 인재는 그 맥을 같이한다고 보고, 이러한 인재를 ‘글로벌 영리더’로 재개념화한 다음, 그 육성을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 모델-도구-프로그램을 개발·체계화하기 위해 3가지 연구문제를 설정하고 수행하였다. 첫째, 코칭접근을 통해 창의융합형 인재육성을 지원하는 마음의 길(MW : Mind Way) 코칭모델을 개발하는 것으로, 교육부에서 제시한 6가지 일반 역량을 재개념화하여 심성, 본성, 적성, 감수성, 창조성, 사회성의 6개 발달영역에서통합적 탁월성(excellence)이 발휘될 수 있도록 통섭(consilience)적 접근을 통해본 연구자에 의해 기 개발된 WISE 모델과 통합·개발하였다. 둘째, MW 코칭모델을 구성하는 요소 중 핵심요소에 해당하는 ‘심성’의 상태를 파악하기 위한 도구인 멋진 마음의 길(W-MW : Wonderful Mind Way)을개발·타당화하는 것으로, ‘조하리의 창(Johari’s window)’을 원용하여 52가지 형용사로 구성된 도구를 개발하였다. 셋째, MW 코칭모델에 기반한 프로그램을 구성하는 것으로, 일반 아동 청소년을 위한 Grace & Force 프로그램과 크리스천 아동 청소년을 위한 Grace & Force-CE 프로그램의 틀을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 하여 후속연구(2)에서는 Grace & Force 및 Grace & Force-CE 프로그램의 효과를 M-MW 도구를 사용하여 분석함으로써 MW 코칭모델의 이론적 타당성과 실천적 효과성을 확인할 수 있을 것이다.

This study sees that Creative Convergence Talents, the aim proposed by the Ministry of Education in the 2015 Revised Education Curriculum, is in line with raising global leaders in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With this in mind, these kinds of talents are reconceptualized as “Global Young Leaders”, and three studies were set up and conducted in order to effectively support the development and systematization of the model-tool-program. The first study develops the Mind Way (MW) Coaching Model to foster creative convergence talents. We reconceptualize the six general competencies proposed by the Ministry of Education, which is nature, aptitude, mind, sensibility, creativity, and sociality. Then, to achieve the integrated excellence in these six developmental areas, we incorporate the WISE model, previously developed by the authors, into the Mind Way Coaching Model. The second study develops and validates the Wonderful Mind Way(W-MW) as an executable tool that can help identify one’s state of mind, which is the core element that constructs the MW Coaching Model. The W-MW uses the Johari Window Model and is composed of 52 adjectives. The third study creates frames for the program called Grace & Force, which targets general children and young people, and for another similar program called Grace & Force-CE, which is designed for Christian children and young people, both of which are based on the MW Coaching Model. Based on the results of these three studies, a follow-up study will affirm the theoretical validity and practical effectiveness of the MW Coaching Model by analyzing the two action programs Grace & Force and Grace & Force-CE using the M-MW tools.
