Q방법론을 활용한 유아 자녀를 둔 부모의 양육강점 인식유형연구

Abstract

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 양육강점을 어떻게 인식하는지Q방법론을 통해 살펴보았다. 이에 본 연구는 유아자녀를 둔 부모 P표본 32명과31개의 진술문을 표집 하여 Q소팅을 실시하였으며, QUANL-PC 프로그램을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 양육강점에 관한 대상자의 인식을 살펴보았을 때 유아자녀를 둔 부모이기에 자녀와의 애정표현 등이 매우 중요하고 긍정적인 강점으로보편적으로 인식되었다. 그러나 각 유형별로 자녀의 발달을 이해하고, 발달에맞는 상호작용을 하고 자녀를 존중하는 것에서는 차이가 있음이 나타났다. 연구결과 유아자녀를 둔 부모의 양육강점에 관한 4개의 인식유형이 도출되었다. 1유형 과정중시 관찰강점, 2유형 이해중시 배려강점, 3유형 심미중시 도전강점, 4유형은 탐구중시 활동강점으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 유아자녀를 둔 부모의 양육에 관련된 코칭프로그램 등을 설계 시에 강점인식을 바탕으로 설계해볼 수 있다는 것과 부모로서의 자신의 강점을 발견하고 활용할 수 있는 기회의 필요성을 확인하였다는 점에서 본 연구의의의가 있다.

This study examines how parents with children in their infancy perceive their parenting strengths through Q methodology. 32 P samples of parents with infants and 31 statements were collected and Q-sorted. The data were analyzed through the QUANL-PC program. As a result of the study, four types of perception were derived about the parenting strengths of parents with infant children. Type 1 observation strengths focused on the process. Type 2 consideration strengths focused on understanding. Type 3 challenges the strength of aesthetics. Type 4 strengths of vitality focused on curiosity. This study is significant in that it provided an opportunity to discover and utilize the strengths of parents. We confirmed the need for an opportunity for parents with young children to discover and utilize their strengths as parents.
