- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to examine women's awareness and purchase of hair cosmetics, their satisfaction level and the relationship of the characteristics of their scalp and hair to the use of hair cosmetics in an effort to provide accurate information on hair cosmetics and step up the sustainable development of the industry.
The findings of the study showed that the women's scalp and hair were not in good health due to frequent beauty treatment such as perm and dyeing, stress and hormone. As for the best ways for the improvement of the health state of the scalp and hair, they made use of functional hair cosmetics and took considerations on the state of their scalp and hair when they chose hair cosmetics. When their use of hair cosmetics and satisfaction level were analyzed by the state of the scalp and hair, it's found that they placed the most importance on effects. In order to boost the use of hair cosmetics among consumers and their satisfaction level, the development of technology is required to enhance the function of hair cosmetics, and the development of more segmented and specialized products and marketing strategies are necessary as well.
