- Abstract
- The goal of this research is to develop a smart location-aware guide system that provides a smart and personalized guide services based on implicit awareness of location. As a location-aware guide application, we have developed a smart location-aware bus guide system for Seoul. It recognizes the current position with GPS receiver, guides users to the nearby bus stops based on the current position and provides users with bus information at the bus stops. The system has also been extended with social tagging to support more convenient searching of user's destinations.
