대학생의 평가염려 완벽주의가 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향에서 긍정적 평가와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움의 이중매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생의 평가염려 완벽주의가 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향에서 긍정적 및 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움의 이중매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 382명의 대학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석을 실시하여, Hayes(2013)의 PROCESS macro 프로그램의 model 4를 활용하여 이중매개분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 평가염려 완벽주의는 긍정적 및 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 학업지연행동과의 정적 상관관계가 유의하였다. 또한 학업지연행동은 긍정적 평가와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과의 정적 상관관계가 유의하였다. 둘째, 대학생의 평가염려 완벽주의는 긍정적 평가와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움을 매개로 학업지연행동에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 한편, 평가염려 완벽주의와 학업지연행동의 관계에서 긍정적 평가와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움의 간접효과는 설명량에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 연구 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의 및 시사점과 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언 등에 관해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the double mediating effects of fear of positive evaluation and fear of negative evaluation on the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism and academic procrastination of University students. The Online survey of this study was 382 University students. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, as a result of correlation analysis to confirm the correlation between evaluation concern perfectionism, fear of positive and negative evaluation, and academic procrastination behavior was significant. Furthermore, the static correlation of academic procrastination behavior with fear of positive and negative evaluation was significant. Second, the double mediating effect of fear of positive and negative evaluation on the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism and academic procrastination of University students was statistically significant. On the other hand, in the relationship between evaluation concern perfectionism and academic delay behavior, there was no significant difference in the indirect effect of fear of positive and negative evaluation in explanation. Finally, We discuss the theoretical and practical implications, as well as avenues for future research.
