대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구에서는 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 대학생 381명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시, 자기개념 명확성, SNS 중독경향성의 상관관계를 검증하였다. 그 결과 완벽주의적 자기제시와 SNS 중독경향성은 자기개념 명확성과 부적 상관관계가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 완벽주의적 자기제시와 SNS 중독경향성은 정적 상관관계가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시 총점 및 하위요인(완벽주의적 자기노력, 불완전함 은폐-행동적, 불완전함 은폐-언어적)과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 완벽주의적 자기제시를 하위요인으로 구체화하여 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 후속연구에서는 SNS 중독경향성이 현저하게 높은 임상군의 대학생을 대상으로 연구할 필요성이 제기된다.

This study was to verify the mediating effects of self-concept clarity on the relationships between perfectionistic self-presentation and SNS addiction tendency of university students. The subjects of this study were 381 university students nationwide. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the perfectionistic self-presentation and SNS addiction tendency had significant negative correlations with the self-concept clarity. The perfectionistic self-presentation showed a significant positive correlation with SNS addiction tendency. Second, the mediating effects of self-concept clarity was significant on the relationships between the perfectionistic self-presentation and SNS addiction tendency; the total score of perfectionistic self-presentation and its sub-factors(perfectionistic self promotion, nondisplay of imperfection, nondisclosure of imperfection). This study is especially meaningful that it verified the relationships between sub-factors of perfectionistic self-presentation and SNS addiction tendency. In a follow-up study, it would be necessary to consider the subjects that university students in clinical group with significantly higher SNS addiction tendency.
