국내 문화예술경영 대학원 교과과정 발전방안: 중국인 유학생의 인식분석을 중심으로

Abstract

최근 들어 국내 대학으로 문화예술경영 석·박사 과정을 진학하는 중국인 유학생은 폭발적으로 늘고 있으며, 여러 대학은 다각적인 홍보를 통해 중국인 유학생들의 유치에 힘을 쏟고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 중국인 유학생의 국내 문화예술경영 대학원 교과과정에 관한 인식을 파악하고 그 현황과 문제점을 분석하여 양질의 교과과정을 제공하기 위한 발전 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 질적연구방법인 사례연구를 채택하여, 인터뷰 조사와 문헌연구를 통해 중국인 유학생의 문화예술경영 전공에 대한 인식을 파악하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 중국인 유학생들은 졸업 이후 현장에서 응용 가능한 실용적인 분야를 다루는 수업에 대한 요구가 높게 나타났고, 이에 현장과의 연계성 강화를 통한 교과과정 개선이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 중국인 유학생들은 언어에 대한 부담감으로 졸업논문 작성에 대한 압박감이 큰 것으로 드러나 졸업 요건에 대한 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기본적인 한국어 수업 이외에도 전공 분야에서 많이 사용하는 용어, 개념, 방법론에 대한 전공 관련 한국어 수업 및 특강의 필요성이 드러났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 본 연구는 향후 중국인 유학생들을 대상으로 양질의 문화예술경영 대학원 교과과정을 제공하여 한국의 국가이미지를 향상시키고, 양국의 문화적 감수성을 지니고 이해하는 국제적 인재를 양성하는 데 기여하고자 하였다.

This study aimed to understand the perception of Korean culture and arts management for Chinese students and to derive the development of the curriculum. A qualitative research method was adopted as a research method, and through interview research and literature research, Chinese students' perception of culture and arts management was identified. The results of the study showed that, first, the curriculum needs to be improved by strengthening the connection with the field. Chinese students have been more demanding for classes in practical fields that can be applied in the field because they value their connection to employment activities in China since they obtained their degrees. Second, Chinese students were found to be under great pressure to write graduation papers due to the burden of language, indicating that they need to improve their graduation requirements. Third, there was a need for Korean language classes and special lectures related to majors in terms, concepts, and methodologies that are widely used in major fields. Through the research results, this study aims to improve Korea's national image and foster international talents who understand the cultural sensibilities of both countries by providing high-quality cultural and artistic management curriculum for Chinese students.
