자영업자 베이비붐 세대의 은퇴시점 영향요인에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 베이비붐 세대가 은퇴하기 시작하는 시점에서 이들의 은퇴 시점에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 특히, 자영업에 종사한 베이비붐 세대는 은퇴 후, 다른 취업기회가 제한된 상황에서 은퇴했을 가능성이 높다. 그런데, 이들의 은퇴 시점과 영향요인을 체계적으로 분석하는 것은 준비되지 않은 상태에서 비자발적인 은퇴를 해야 하는 다수의 자영업 자 베이비붐 세대의 고용 가능성을 높일 수 있다. 고령화연구패널조사 1-7차 자료를 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 자영업에 종사하는 베이비부머 여성은 남성보다 은퇴 시점이 빠르게 나타났고, 학력이 높을수록 은퇴 시점이 빨랐으며, 임금 만족도와 고용 안정성이 높을수록 은퇴 시점이 빨라지는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 자영업자 베이비붐 세대의 은퇴 준비와 노후소득보장을 위한 고용 연장방안들을 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to verify the factors affecting the retirement time of baby boomers. In particular, the baby boomers who have been self-employed are highly likely to have a little chance to work when they retired. Therefore, it is necessary to find any policy implications for them by identifying the influential factors which may have an impact on their retirement time. In this study, we used the aging panel data from the 1st survey to 7th survey and conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and regression analysis. In results, it was found that the retirement time of women babyboommers seemed to be earlier than that of men babyboomers, the retirement point of time was mainly influenced by educational qualification, wage level, and job security. We suggested some policy implications for self-employed baby boomers' retirement preparation based on the results.
