dc.description.abstract | The conceptualizations of involvement, commitment, loyalty, and habit have not been clearly distinguished from one another. This lack of clarity has led to inappropriate applications of the four constructs in the fields of leisure and tourism. The purpose of this study was to analyze theoretical and conceptual similarities and dissimilarities between the four constructs and their relationships, using a theoretical comparison analysis and further to propose better conceptualizations and operationalizations in the fields of leisure and tourism. The findings showed that the four concepts have unique attributes and should be conceptualized differently from each other. Further discussions are provided in the paper. | - |
