Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of aerobic exercise and green tea supplementation of 6weeks on the lipid peroxidation and antioxidant. For this study, 28 healthy university students were randomly assigned to 4 different groups(exercise * green tea supplementation group, non-exercise * green tea supplementation group, exercise * non-green tea supplementation group, non-exercise * non-green tea supplementation group). The intensity of exercise was 70~80%HRmax, the amounts of green tea supplementation were 1.5g~1.7g per day, and duration of exercise and green tea supplementation was 6weeks. Repeated 2-way ANOVA was used as the statistical analysis and significance were accepted at p<.05. The following conclusions could be obtained: 1. Lipid peroxidation was significantly different within groups as exercise(p<.05), but there was no different as green tea supplementation. There was no interaction with exercise and green tea supplementation.2. SOD was no significantly different within groups both exercise and green tea supplementation. There was no interaction with exercise and green tea supplementation.3. GPx was significantly different within groups as exercise(p<.05), but there was no different as green tea supplementation. There was no interaction with exercise and green tea supplementation.
