상담자 역전이관리능력 관련변인에 대한 메타분석

Abstract

본 연구에서는 상담자 역전이관리능력과 관련된 요인들을 체계적으로 정리하고. 그 요인들과 상담자 역전이관리능력과의 상관관계 효과크기를 종합하였다. 이를 위해 메타분석을 사용하였으며. 최종 55편을 연구대상으로 선정하여 총 1.049개의 상관관계 효과를 산출하였다. 구체적인 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째. 상담자 역전이관리능력 관련변인들 간의 전체 상관관계 효과크기는 .390으로 중간 효과크기 이상을 나타냈다. 둘째. 역전이관리능력 관련 구조요인 간의 상관관계 효과크기는 개인내적변인 .429. 개인외적변인 .194의 순으로 효과크기를 나타냈다. 세부적으로 살펴보면. 개인내적변인의 하위변인인 상담자 역량변인은 .527. 심리ㆍ성격 변인은 .322의 순으료 효과크기가 나타났으며. 개인외적변인의 하위변인인 외부지지변인은 .206. 상담관련경력변인은 .178의 효과크기를 나타냈다. 셋째. 세부변인들 중에서는 상담자 역량변인의 발달수준 .652, 상담자자기효능감 .548, 진정성 .523과 심리ㆍ성격변인의 상태불안 .593이 큰 효과크기를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 상담자 역전이관리능력과 관련 변인에 대한 개별 연구들의 종합적 분석을 통해 상담자 역전이관리능력의 발달을 위한 실질적인 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며 효과적인 개입방안과 실천방안을 모색하고 후속연구의 방향을 제시하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to comprehensively analyze the correlation effect size between counselors’ countertransference management abilities and factors affectig the counselors’ countertransference management ability, by means of meta-analysis. 55 research studies were sampled. From these studies, the following results were derived. Firstly, the total effect size among the factors related to the counselors’ countertransference management ability was .390. This reweals an effect size higher than the mid-range. Secondly, the correlation effect size on the variables related to counselors’ countertransference management abilities’ sub factors was competence as a counselor variables (.527), psychological and personality (.322), social support (.206) and counseling experience variables (.178). Thirdly, the correlation effect size on the variables related to the counselors’ countertransference management abilities’ sub factors was counselor development (.652), state anxiety (.593), counselor self-efficacy (.548), and authenticity (.523). The data from this study can be used in a practical manner for the development of counselors’ countertransference management abilities through comprehensive analysis of individual studies on counselors’ countertransference management abilities and effective intervention plans and action plans. It is also useful in suggesting possible future directions in subsequent research.
