대학생의 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과

Abstract

​본 연구는 대학생의 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 수도권 소재 4년제 대학의 재학생 283명을 대상으로 부모애착, 대학생활 적응, 자기수용 검사를 실시하였다. 모든 분석은 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며 분석과정은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 대상자의 인구통계학적 특성을 알아보고자 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 둘째, 연구에서 사용한 각 척도의 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해 척도별 및 하위요인별 Cornbach's α 계수를 산출하였다. 셋째, 연구대상자의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 대학생활 적응의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t-test와 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 다섯째, 대학생의 부모애착, 자기수용, 대학생활 적응의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 여섯째, 대학생의 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 절차에 따라 매개효과분석을 실시하였으며 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하기 위해 sobel test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별 및 거주형태에 따른 대학생활 적응의 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 한편, 학년에 따른 대학생활 적응의 차이는 통계적으로 의미있는 차이를 보였으나 Scheffe의 사후검증에서 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 대학생의 부모애착과 자기수용은 대학생활 적응과 유의미한 정적상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 자기수용은 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났으며 유의성 검증 결과 또한 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 대학생의 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과를 확인하였으며 자기수용이 대학생의 부모애착과 대학생활 적응 간의 관계에서 중요한 변수로 활용될 수 있음을 밝힌 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of unconditional self-acceptance in the relationship between college students' parent attachment and adaptation to college life. The results of this study if as follows: First, there was no difference in gender and residence type regarding adaptation to college life. Meanwhile, there was a statistically significant difference in students' grades. But there was no statistically significant difference in the Scheffes' verification. Second, college students' parent attachment and adaptation to college life showed a significant positive correlation. Third, it was verified that unconditional self-acceptance carries out partial mediation when it comes to the relation between college students' parent attachment and adaptation to college life. The results of this study lie in the discovery of the fact that unconditional self-acceptance could be used for an important variable in the relationship between college students' parent attachment and adaptation to college life.
