음악치료 전공생 음악개입 자기평가 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 음악치료 전공생의 음악개입을 자기평가하는 척도(Music Intervention Self-Assessment Scale for Music Therapy Students: MISAS-MTS)를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 절차와 결과는 다음과 같다. 문헌을 통해 음악치료사의 음악개입들을 검토 후, 실습 슈퍼바이저가 포함된 숙련된 음악치료사 여덟 명과 음악치료 전공생 여섯 명을 대상으로 심층면담을 진행하여 89개의 최초 문항을 개발하였다. 그 이후 내용타당도 검증, 국문 자문, 인지타당도 검증을 통해 4요인, 60개의 예비 조사 문항을 도출하였다. 실습 및 인턴십 과정의 음악치료 전공생을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하여 162부의 자료를 수집한 뒤, 문항분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 4요인, 22개의 본조사 문항을 도출하였다. 예비조사와 동일 조건의 대상자에게 본조사를 실시하여 197부의 자료를 수집한 후, 문항분석과 확인적 요인분석을 통해 구인타당도 증거를 확보하고 4요인, 18문항의 최종문항을 완성하였다. 4요인은 ‘음악자원’, ‘음악인식’, ‘음악개입 적용’, ‘음악개입 불안’이었다. 또한 ‘초심상담자의 상담 수행능력 자기평가 척도’와 ‘음악치료사 자기효능감 척도’를 외적 준거로 하여 공인타당도와 예측타당도의 증거를 확보하였다. 이 연구는 음악치료 전공생이 자기성찰을 위한 셀프 슈퍼비전의 도구로 활용할 수 있고, 음악치료에서 음악개입의 적절성만을 측정해 볼 수 있으며, 음악치료 영역 안에서 개발된 척도로서음악치료만의 고유성을 나타낼 수 있다는 데에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate music intervention self-assessment scale for music therapy students. This study includes in-depth interviews conducted with eight professional music therapists and six music therapy students after extensive literature review on music interventions implemented by music therapists. Eighty nine initial items were derived from literature review and interviews. Then, four factors and 60 items were selected for the preliminary survey based on the content validity examined by a panel, cognitive validity examined by music therapy students, and a review from a Korean linguistic scholar. The preliminary survey data were collected from 162 music therapy students. Four factors and 22 items were determined by data item analysis and exploratory factor analysis. For the main survey conducted on 197 music therapy students, data item analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were performed to finalize the scale. As a result, four factors and 18 items were identified with construct validity: a) musical ability; b) musical awareness; c) application of music intervention; and d) music intervention anxiety. The concurrent validity and predictive validity were assessed, comparing the items with those of Novice Counselors’ Counseling Ability Self-evaluation Scales and Music Therapist Self-Efficacy Scales. This study provided a self-reflection tool and information on music intervention for music therapy students, and reflect the unique characteristics of music therapy.
