- Abstract
- This study aims to examine the relationship between 'grit', which is judged as an important psychological characteristic that office workers must have to faithfully perform their duties, professional self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Through this, it aims to present useful data for creating a variety of environments that lead to job satisfaction by enhancing the creativity of professional self-efficacy, which is a belief in personal work-related capabilities and an important factor for successful job performance.
To gather raw data for the study, sample was selected for those who had worked for more than 6 months and are citizens of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted from November 5 to December 30, 2021, and 155 samples were extracted using the convenience sampling method. 150 questionnaire data were used for actual analysis, excluding five questionnaires that were difficult to use due to missing survey contents or double answers. Data were processed through SPSS (window Ver.
25.0) and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that both the consistency of the grit factor interests of office workers and the persistence of effort had a significant effect on professional self-efficacy. Second, it was found that the persistence of the grit factor efforts of office workers had a significant effect on job satisfaction, and the consistency of interest did not have a significant effect.
Third, it was found that the professional self-efficacy of office workers had a significant effect on job satisfaction.
