- Abstract
- This study is intended to provide beauty shops and their customers with right information on how to treat and how to care, and identifying the cause of damaged hair customers think and the importance of treatment. The summary of the study results is as following.1. Most of respondents have had damaged hair condition, with the majority of them having normal scalp. They believed that hair is mainly damaged by dying and bleaching treatment in beauty shops.2. After dying, most of respondents had hair 'a little damaged' for the severity of damage, and 45.12% of respondents had side effects of dying, such as dry, brittle, and fragile hair.3. For types of hair, those with curly hair highly tended to have side effects, and many of respondents had the damaged hair cut as hair care when they had side effects of dying or a permanent.4. Most of respondents said they used shampoos, especially different kinds of shampoos depending on scalp and hair type. They used shampoos for hair everyday in average, rinsing it in 1~3 minutes. After a permanent and dying, respondents had a treatment for hair care occasionally. Also, they used a cream type of hair-pack for treatment.5. For information of hair care, teens acquired information via internet mass media, while those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s over got it through beauty shops.
