Abstract
The framework for a women's informatization indicator (WIT) was developed. The previous indicators focused on the infrastructures of the country and not on the perceptions and behaviors of individual members of the information society. This study has included the objective and subjective aspects of the informatization of individuals. The weights (coefficients) of influencing factors were obtained from multiple regressions of the survey data. The comprehensive indicator for the women's informatization level is earned. Finally, WIT was transformed into the index. This index makes it easy to compare diverse groups over certain periods of time.
