음악과와 미술과 교사의 개별화 수업에 관한 인식 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 음악교과와 미술교과 담당교사의 개별화 수업에 관한 인식 비교를 목적으로 한다. 설문은 수업요인, 교사요인, 학생요인의 범주로 개발되었다. 연구대상은 음악 및 미술교과 지도 경험이 있는 초등학교 교사와 중학교 음악교사 및 미술교사이며, 전국적으로 304명의 교사들이 설문조사에 참여하였다. 도출된 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 음악교과와 미술교과 담당교사들은 수업요인 전반에 관하여 인식의 차이를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 음악교과 및 미술교과 담당교사들은 수업 가치의 우선순위, 수업의 형태, 교수 방식, 평가의 우선순위에서 인식의 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 음악교과 및 미술교과 담당교사들의 약 과반수가 개별화 교수법에 대하여 인지하고 있었다. 두 교과의 담당교사 모두 개별화 교수법 관련 교사연수에 높은 관심을 보였다. 셋째, 학습자요인에서는 음악교과 및 미술교과 담당교사 간 인식 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 교사들은 학생들의 음악 및 미술학습 수준차이를 충분히 인지하고 있었으며, 수업의 계획 단계부터 진행과정, 교재 활용의 측면까지 다양한 방식으로 학습자의 개인차를 고려하는 것으로 나타났다. 교과 담당 교사가 인식하는 학습자의 수업 이해도(음악과)와 수업 참여도(미술과)는 높게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to compare music and art teachers' perceptions aboutdifferentiated instruction. The questionnaire was categorized according to the factors ofinstruction, teachers, and learners. The participants in this survey consisted of a total of 304elementary and middle school teachers in music and art on a national scale. Based on thesurvey results, the conclusions were as follows: First, the music teachers and art teachersshowed differences in their perspectives of the value of instruction, types of instruction,teaching methods, and priority of assessment and evaluation. Second, about half of the musicand art teachers recognized differentiated instruction(DI). Music teachers indicated moreinterest in the workshops related to differentiated instruction than art teachers. Both musicand art teachers fully recognized differences in their students' musical or artistic abilities. Theteachers believed that such differences were reflected in how they prepared for theinstructions, applied differentiated teaching and learning materials to their instructions, andcreated detailed evaluation criteria.
