Abstract
LiSrGaN2 was obtained as single crystals from the constituent elements in molten Na. It crystallizes in space group C2/m (No. 12) with a=6.0767 Angstrom, b=10.1546 Angstrom, c= 12.6412 Angstrom, beta=91.366degrees, and Z=12. The crystal structure contains a two-dimensional nitridogallate network, that is interpenetrated by a two-dimensional nitridolithiate network with the same structural motif.
