Abstract
Planar Hall effect (PHE) and GMR of Glass/Fe70 Angstrom/[Co21 Angstrom/Cu25 Angstrom](20) multilayers were measured with magnetic field applied in plane of sample. More complicated and sharper peaks were observed in PHE than MR when external field was applied along the easy axis direction. More complicated PHE signal allows the magnetization directions of each magnetic layers to be determined more precisely and to separate magnetization reversal of each neighboring layers.
