- Abstract
- The purpose of the study was to compare tourists perceptions between before Ban on Korean entertainer's and after Ban on Korean entertainer's using social media big data. This study data were collected from Blog and Cafe on naver, daum during Months of September 2016 to February 2017(before the outbreak) and months of March 2017 to August 2017 (after the outbreak). This study process included a multi step. The data were collected and cleaned by the textom program for social media analytics, then this study was utilized social network analysis to identify the changes in the tourism perception of the tourists and discover the central perceptions in the semantic network. As a result of this study, high-frequency words identified that there were differences between before and after the Ban on Korean entertainer's outbreak. Also, there was a clear difference in influential perceptions between two semantic networks, as normalized betweenness, closeness, degree centrality, the result of a Concor analysis. Based on the study findings, this study presents theoretical implication and practical implications for social media big data study using social media analytics.
