놀이중심 사회적 기술 증진 프로그램이 저소득 한부모가정 아동의 또래관계에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 저소득층 한부모가정 아동의 또래관계를 개선하기 위해 놀이중심 사회적 기술증진 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 대상아동은 경기도 지역아동센터에 다니는 아동 중 교사용 사회적 기술 검사를 실시하여 점수가 하위 33%에 해당하는 6명을 선정하였다. 연령은 9-10세 이며, 3명은 연구집단에, 3명은 통제집단에 무선할당 하였다. 본 프로그램은 저소득 한부모가정 아동의 자아존중감과, 사회적 기술을 훈련시키는데 놀이의 치료적 요인을 활용하였다. 아동의 또래관계 변화는 사전, 사후, 추루 자기보고식과 교사보고식 또래관계 검사에서 변화된 점수를 비교하였다. 또래관계 행동을 관찰하기 위해 놀이행동관찰기록지를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 놀이 중심 사회적 기술 증진프로그램은 아동의 또래관계 점수를 향상시켰으며, 놀이상황에서 긍정적 또래행동을 증진시켰다. 그러나 본 연구의 효과가 지속되기 위해서는 꾸준히 프로그램 개입이 실시되어야 한다는 점과, 프로그램 효과를 극대화 하기 위해 더욱 심도 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 시사하고 있다. 또한 본 연구는 소수사례를 대상으로 실시하여 일반화하는데 제한점이 있으나 놀이 중심 사회적 기술 향상 프로그램이 저소득 한부모가정 아동의 또래관계를 증진시키는데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있게 되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigated a play-based social skill enhancement program to improve the peer relationships of low income single parent families. The subject aged 9∼10 years old, 3 children in the experimental group and 3 children in the control group. The program was carried out 12 sessions twice a week, 60 minutes per session. Both group conducted the IPR and K-SSRS at the beginning, termination and 2 weeks after termination of the program. And checked the Children’s Peer Behaviors during the session and free playtime. The result of this study that the program increased the social skills and the positive Children’s Peer Behaviors. But no significant differences were in the control group. The conclusion is that a play-based social skill enhancement program is effective for improving social skills and peer relationships of low income single parent family children.
