Abstract
본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 나눔교육 활동이 유아의 대인관계 성향과 행복감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 G시에 위치한 S어린이집의 만5세 실험집단 20명과 통제집단 20명을 대상으로 총40명이다. 연구절차는 예비실험, 교사훈련, 사전검사, 실험처치, 사후검사의 순으로 진행되었으며, 평정은 담임교사가 실시하였다. 통계분석은 각 집단 간 사후 점수에 대하여 중다변량분석(MANOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 나눔 교육 활동이 유아의 대인관계 성향과 하위요소인 경쟁-공격, 동정-수용, 사교-우호, 독립-책임, 과시-도취 순으로 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 나눔교육 활동이 유아의 행복감 하위요소인 인지 및 성취, 교사관계, 또래관계, 영성, 부모관계, 몰입, 정서, 건강, 생활만족 순으로 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 유아들에게 그림책을 활용한 나눔 교육 활동을 적용했을 때 유아의 대인관계성향 및 행복감 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 그림책을 활용한 나눔 교육 활동이 유아에게 타인과 더불어 살아가는 공동체 의식과 올바른 가치와 태도를 함양 시킬 수 있는 교육방법으로서 유아교육 기관에서 활용해 볼 가치가 있는 방안임을 시사해준다.
This study attempts to investigate the effect of philanthropic education activities with picture books for young children on interpersonal relationship disposition and happiness. The subjects of the study were 40 students (20 in the experimental group, and 20 in the comparison group) in two classes of 5-years-old children in S day care center located in G city. The study was conducted in the order of the preliminary experiment, teacher training, pre‐test, experimental procedure, and post test. In the experimental group, philanthropic education activities with picture books for young children were carried out. The comparison group conducted philanthropic education activities by listening to picture books and story-telling according to the topics of Nuri curriculum. The results are as follows. First, philanthropic education activities with picture books for young children were found to be effective on interpersonal relationship disposition and sub-factors such as role disposition, social relation disposition, and expressive disposition. Second, philanthropic education activities with picture books for young children were found to affect happiness and a sub-factors of cognition and accomplishment, teacher relationships, peer relationships, spirituality, parent relationship, immersion, emotion, health and life satisfaction. When philanthropic education program utilizing picture books was applied to infants based on this study, it was found that it had a positive effect on the improvement of interpersonal orientation and happiness of infants. The value of philanthropy and change of the awareness through philanthropic education activities might be described as an educational method which enables infants to cultivate community spirit, proper values and attitudes to live together with other people. This study suggests that philanthropic education activities with picture books are worthy of being used in educational institutions for infants.
