Implication verbs have been reconstructed in various ways in the study of ancient Chinese verbalization, and no regularity has been found. The verbization of English is very similar to the verbization of ancient Chinese, but its implication verbs are very limited to around 10 species. The reason for the difference in the types and quantities of implication verbs is in the degree of meaning range of implication verbs. In other words, English is reconstructing implication verbs with relatively high degree of meaning range and Chinese is reconstructing verbs with low degree of meaning range. In this paper, the types of implication verbs were first categorized into verbs with the highest degree of meaning range based on cognitive bases. These are ‘shi 是’, ‘you 有’ and ‘wei 为’ that represent relationships, existence, and action. These three verbs can be subdivided into verbs with a lower degree of meaning range, depending on the relationship between subject and object. Implication verbs that represent relationships are ‘shi 是’, ‘zuowei 作爲’, ‘chengwei 稱爲’, ‘youruo 猶若’, ‘bianwei 變爲’. Implication verbs that represent existence are ‘you 有’, ‘fasheng 發生’, ‘xing 行’, ‘gei 給’, ‘shou 受’, ‘sheng 生’, ‘qu 取’, ‘zuo 作’. Implication verbs that represent action ‘wei 爲’, ‘yong 用’, ‘xiang 向’.-
