Abstract
본고에서는 ‘恭遜’을 ‘높임’보다 더 包括的인 개념으로 받아들여 ‘친근, 친밀, 친절, 배려’ 등을 포함시킨다. 높임이 文法的인 요소나 語彙的인 요소에 의해서 표현된다면 공손은 典型的인 話用的 요소에 의한 間接 要請表現이나 間接 拒絶表現 등으로 표출된다. 그리고 非話用 층위 즉 음운, 문법, 어휘 층위에서 화용적 機制에 의해서 공손성이 표출되기도 하는데 문법과 어휘 층위에서 가졌던 ‘높임’과 달리 ‘親密하고 親近한 態度’를 통해서 표출되거나 ‘格式’과 달리 ‘非格式的인 態度’를 통해서 표출되는 특징을 가지므로 비교 학습할 필요가 있다. 화용적 특징의 중심에 자리잡고 있는 ‘공손’이 한국어 화용교육에 있어서 중요한 존재임을 浮刻시켜 한국어 화용교육의 학습 내용에 잘 반영하고 한국문화의 대표적인 특징인 禮節文化(정신예절, 행동예절, 언어예절) 교육과도 連繫시키도록 한다. 이러한 화용적 기제로 생성된 공손성에 대한 학습은 中級 학습 단계에서 重點的으로 이루어져야 하는 화용교육의 主要 內容이라 하겠다.
In this article, we consider ‘politeness’ as more comprehensive concept than ‘honor’, so ‘intimacy, closeness, kindness, consideration’ are included. If the honor is expressed by grammatical or lexical factors, we can approach the way of politeness is expressed in two ways. One is when it is expressed by indirect request expressions or refusal expressions through typical pragmatic mechanism in the layer of pragmatics, and the other is when it is expressed through pragmatic mechanism in the layer of non-pragmatics, such as phoneme, grammar, vocabulary. Like this, feature of polite expression made by pragmatic mechanism is that it’s expressed through ‘intimate attitude’ unlike ‘honor’, and ‘informal attitude’ unlike ‘formality’. We can confirm that in the center of pragmatic feature, there is ‘politeness’. It is important to note that 'politeness', which is at the center of socio-cultural characteristics, is an important aspect of Korean language education and reflects it well in the contents of Korean pragmatics education and is a representative culture of Korean culture (mental etiquette, behavior etiquette, linguistic etiquette), it is also linked to education. The learning of the politeness generated by this pragmatic mechanism is the main content of the pragmatic education which should be done in the intermediate level.
