- Abstract
- 이 연구는 빈곤상황에서 아동의 정서적·심리적 적응에 중요한 역할을 하는 보호요인과 이에 영향을 미치는 매개변인을 탐색하고, 경제위기에서 아동의 정서적 안정에 영향을 미치는 보호요인의 조절효과를 검증할 목적으로 수행되었다. 이 연구를 위해 서울지역에 거주하는 초·중생 814명(초등생 406명, 중학생409명)을 대상으로 선정하였다. 연구결과는 빈곤아동의 보호요인인 낙관수준에 영향을 미치는 변인 중 부모에 대한 태도와 자아존중감에서 유의한 효과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 비빈곤 중간계층의 아동집단과는 달리 부모와의 관계성 변인에서는 유의성을 확인할 수 없었다. 낙관변인은 경제위기에서 심리적 안정수준과 일탈 및 비행행위에 대해 부분적 보호기능을 하는 것으로 보이며, 빈곤이라는 부정적 환경 속에서도 아동의 심리적·사회적 적응에 긍정적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.
