부모방임, 또래애착이 자아정체감과 진로정체감을 매개로 고등학생의 삶의 만족감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 고등학생의 부모방임, 또래애착과 삶의 만족감의 관계에서 자아정체감과 진로정체감의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 고등학생의 삶의 만족감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고, 삶의 만족감을 향상시키기 위한 부모방임, 또래애착, 자아정체감과 진로정체감의 효과적인 개입 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구의 자료는 한국청소년정책연구원의 ‘한국 아동·청소년 패널조사(2014)’ 5차 년도 자료이며, 최종분석대상자는 고등학교 2학년 학생 총 1727명이다. 변인들의 특성을 살펴보기 기술통계를 산출하였다. 또한 고등학생의 부모방임, 또래애착과 삶의 만족감의 관계에서 자아정체감과 진로정체감의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제안한 3단계 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 본 연구에 사용된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 주요한 결과와 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모가 자녀에게 방임을 덜 할수록, 또래와의 애착이 잘 형성되어 있을수록 고등학생의 삶의 만족감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모가 자녀에게 방임의 태도를 덜 보일수록, 또래와의 애착이 잘 형성될수록 자아정체감과 진로정체감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고등학생의 자아정체감과 진로정체감이 높을수록 삶의 만족감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 부모방임, 또래애착은 자아정체감, 진로정체감을 매개로 하여 고등학생의 삶의 만족감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study aims to identify the mediating effects of self-identity and career identity in the relationship between parental neglect, peer attachment and life satisfaction among high school students. This study explores the factors that are influential to the life satisfaction of high school students, and seeks effective methods to enhance self-identity and career identity by intervening adequately parental neglect and peer attachment in order to improve their life satisfaction. This study used the data in wave 5 of Korean children and youth panel survey (2014) of the National Youth Policy Institute and the final analysis subjects were a total of 1027 students in second grade of high school. We used descriptive statistical analysis to identify characteristics of variables. And also we conducted the three-step regression analysis by baron and Kenny (1986) to verify the mediating effects of self-identity and career identity in the relationship between parental neglect, peer attachment and life satisfaction of high school students. The data processing of this study was carried out by IBM SPSS statistics 21.0. The major findings and conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the less neglected by parents and the better attachments with peers, the higher the life satisfaction among high school students is. Second, the less neglected by parents and the better attachment with peers, the higher self-identity and career identity are. Third, the higher self-identity and career identity among high school students, the higher their life satisfaction is. Lastly, parental neglect and peer attachment appear to be influential to the life satisfaction among high school students by the medium of self-identity and career identity.
