- Abstract
- The ozone microwave radiometer has been developed at RIGE (Research Institute of Global Environment)
in Sookmyung women's university. It observes the ozone molecular thermal radiation by rotational transition
at 110 GHz. It consists of receiver and analytical system. The spectrum detected by the receiver is analyzed
by the retrieval program. In this paper, ARTS and Qpack program were adapted for ozone retrieval as new programs.
ARTS builds up the forward model with atmospheric radiative transfer equation. Qpack inverts from
the molecular spectrum to the ozone vertical profile by Optimal estimation method. The result from these programs
was verified from the comparison with HALOE satellite data
