- Abstract
- Although the number of North Korean Refugees is rapidly increasing since the last period of 1990s, it is reality these days that they have not flexibly adapted themselves to South Korean Society.
In the research, the most important factor determining the resettlement and self-support of North Korean Refugees is supposed to be the vocational life, and the effect influential on the increase of self-confidence and will to seeking job through obtaining the skill of job-hunting and method, is to be inspected.
Purpose of the research is as follows. First, the influence of employment support program on the stress caused by the anxiety of change imposed upon the seceders, is to be studied. Second, the validity of employment support program is to be researched for knowing whether the program increases the desire of job-seeking. Third, the influence on the validity of employment support program according to the vital features such as gender, education and age, is to be researched.
The result is as follows. First, the employment support program for North Korean Refugees has much effect to a degree on the mental mitigation of shock deriving from the unstable future of seceders in, for example, jot hunting. Second, the employment support program for North Korean Refugees has validity in increasing the will for seceders to seek job. Third, the employment support program for North Korean Refugees has no distinction according to gender, education and age.
