아동학대 및 방임이 청소년기 공동체의식에 미치는 영향:우울과 또래 애착의 이중매개효과

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 아동학대 및 방임이 각각 청소년기 공동체의식에 종단적 영향을 미치는지 탐색하고, 이 경로에서 우울과 또래 애착의 이중매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년패널의 초등학교 4학년 2차-5차년도(2011-2014년도) 조사에 모두 참여한 아동·청소년 1,910명의 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구가설 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였으며, 부트스트래핑과 팬텀변수 분석을 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동방임은 청소년기 공동체의식에 부적 영향을 미치나, 아동학대는 청소년기 공동체의식에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동학대와 방임은 모두 청소년기 우울을 매개해 공동체의식에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 아동방임은 청소년기 또래 애착을 통해 공동체의식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으나, 아동학대의 영향은 유의하지 않았다. 마지막으로, 아동학대와 방임은 모두 청소년기 우울과 또래 애착의 순차적 매개를 통해 공동체의식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 이중매개효과를 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로, 청소년기 공동체의식 향상을 위한 다양한 정책적, 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the double-mediation effects of depression and peer attachment in relation to child abuse and neglect and the sense of community among adolescents. For this purpose, we analyzed the data of 1,910 adolescents who participated panel study of the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey(KECYPS) from 2th through 5th waves. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis were conducted. In addition, the mediated effects were verified through bootstrapping and phantom variable analysis. The analysis results were as follows. First, child neglect had an significant effect on the sense of community, but child abuse did not show a significant effect. Second, both child abuse and neglect affected the sense of community through the medication of depression. Third, child neglect affected the sense of community through peer attachment, but the impact of child abuse was not significant. Finally, the results of phantom variable analysis revealed that both child abuse and neglect had an indirect effects on the sense of community through the double mediation effects of depression and peer attachment. Based on the results, policy and practical implications were discussed.
