- Abstract
- This rffesearch intends to provide the relationship among Emotional Intelligence, Self-regulation and Stress Coping of university students majoring in dance. From the university located in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon province, 330 questionnaires were distributed and 321 university students majoring in dance were selected using purposive sampling method. The questionnaire consisted of 41 questions, of which reliability and validity were already tested in advanced studies. The data from the survey were analyzed through frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0. The results were as follows: First, Emotional Intelligence effected on Self-regulation significantly. Second, Emotional Intelligence effected on Stress Coping significantly. Third, Self-regulation effected on Stress Coping significantly. Therefore, various ways to increase the Emotional Intelligence capital have to be developed practically. They will contribute to Self-regulation, Stress Coping and satisfaction for university students majoring in dance.
