공공기관 퇴직예정자의 퇴직준비 교육 참여경험 탐색

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 공공기관 퇴직예정자가 퇴직준비 교육에 참여할 때, 교육에 참여하게 된 필요성을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지, 참여 경험으로 변화된 것은 무엇인지 그리고 그 경험이 어떤 의미인지 구체적으로 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 퇴직예정자 퇴직준비 교육에 참여한 경험이 있는 7명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였고, 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 퇴직예정자의 퇴직준비 교육 참여경험은 크게 두 가지로 범주화되었다. 첫째, 퇴직예정자의 퇴직준비 교육은 자신에 대한 성찰의 시간(나에게 주는 여유의 시간, 비우고 채워가는 기회)이었다. 둘째, 삶의 전환기에서 자신감 회복과 두려움을 극복할 수 있는 계기(변화에 대한 도전, 긍정의 마이드컨트롤, 새로운 나를 발견, 적극적인 활동으로 노후 불안감 극복)가 되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 퇴직을 앞둔 퇴직예정자들이 인생의 전환점에서 생산적이고 적극적인 삶을 살 수 있도록 퇴직준비를 위한 교육이 필요하며, 특히, 교육 참여자의 특성을 고려한 교육내용 및 운영방법이 필요하고 능동적으로 학습을 지속할 수 있는 실제적인 방법들을 제공할 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore specifically how retired prospective employees of public institutions recognize the need to participate in education by participating in education for retirement preparation, what has changed to participation experience, and what the experience means. To achieve this purpose, seven prospective retirees with experience in participating in retirement preparation education were selected and interviewed, and analyzed by phenomenological methods. As a result, the experiences of prospective retirees participating in retirement preparation education were categorized into two. First, retirement preparation education for prospective retirees was a time to reflect on themselves. Second, retirement preparation education provided an opportunity to recovery confidence and overcome fear. Based on the results of these studies, it is necessary to provide education support for retirement preparation so that retirees who are planning to retire can live a productive and active life at the turning point of their lives. Especially, it is necessary to provide educational content and operating methods considering the characteristics of the participants. It is also suggested that practical methods to continue learning activities are needed.
