In an era where the number of single-person households is rapidly increasing, the proportion of single-person households who have experienced negative emotions such as stress, loneliness, depression, and anxiety is also increasing, and as a result, some overcome such negative emotions by raising nature, instead of pets. Currently, in order to avoid infection caused by COVID-19, the time spent at home has increased with the help of technological development and conversion of the work system, but at the same time, the pressure of growing plants increases therefore the development of natural substitutes is increasing. The purpose of this study is to predict the future direction of design development related to natureby analyzing the flow of natural consumption pattern trends in the past and present, and then analyzing the correlation. In Chapter 4, five companies were selected, and the evidence was inferred by conducting a survey and analysis on new interior trends and natural consumption patterns from 2015 to 2021. The analysis results are summarized as follows. 1) The theme of nature is deeply entering the lives of modern people in the name of emotional stability and healing, affecting our minds, and the preference for nature is gradually. 2) The response points are diversifying due to the increase in the development of alternative elements of nature. 3) Modern people are interested in consumption patterns in a direction that does not damage nature due to increased awareness of sustainability, and are attempting to incorporate nature in many aspects. Through this study, future design directions should further develop design development in sustainable natural applications so as not to harm the environment, and awareness of the coexistence of human-natural relations is expected to increase.
