초록

This article examines the characteristics of the works of artists born in 1922, among them Son Chang-seop, Sun Woo-hwi, and Kim Chun-soo. Most writers born in 1922 seem to have a strong influence on the Korean War, and if Son Chang-seop appears to be a freak at the aesthetic level, Sun Woo-hwi seems to have a dramatic life history. Sun Woo-hwi, who served as a soldier for more than eight years, had a different military life than Park Doo-jin, who was born in 2016 in Daegu, and Kim Soo-young, who was born in 1921, who was trapped in a concentration camp after participating in the North Korean military. Few writers have experienced long-term and actual combat like Sun Woo-hwi. Looking at the works of Son Chang-seop, Sun Woo-hwi, and Kim Chun-soo discussed in this article, we looked at several aspects of post-war literature. These works feature characters who lost their subjectivity after the colony and war, and human figures seeking the meaning of existence. Just as writers born in the 1960s had a melting pot called the Gwangju Democratic Uprising in 1980, writers born in 1922 had to pass several big events. Experiencing the Pacific War at the age of 20 in 1942, liberation at the age of 23, and the Korean War at the age of 28 in 1950, They showed the characteristics of postwar literature during his best activities as a writer. Due to their abundant creative activities, the collapsed space of imagination was able to escape hunger somewhat, followed by a new energy of civic literature after the 1960s.
