This study was conducted to develop quality evaluation, assessment tools, and quality indexes for the Higher Education in Korea website which manages statistical information on higher education. First, previous research focusing on WebQual was analyzed to identify preliminary evaluation items for quality evaluation, followed by selecting the quality evaluation tools based on the outcomes of an exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis of the survey results completed by university faculty and staff. The second phase involved calculating the weighted value and the quality index between the evaluation areas through an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) analysis. The research results presented the quality evaluation tools for the university information disclosure website to be composed of 7 evaluation criteria, 31 evaluation items, and the evaluation area with the highest weighted value was the information criteria. The results of performing quality evaluation on the Higher Education website shows that the average satisfaction of the 7 categories was 3.015∼3.724 out of a total of 5. © 2017 International Information Institute.
