초록
The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of multicultural admissibility in the relationship between multicultural education experience and multicultural competency of Dream Start Center workers. The subject of this study was a survey of workers working at 229 Dream Start Centers nationwide. Of the 196 copies finally recovered, 188 copies were used as statistical data. For statistical processing, Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of looking at the differences in multicultural capabilities, for the workers with less than 5 years of experience, the higher the educational background they had, the more statistically significant the multicultural capabilities they showed, and the lower their age was and the higher educational background they had, the more statistically significant multicultural receptivity they showed. Second, multicultural receptivity was found to mediate the relationship between multicultural education experience and multicultural competency. Based on the results of this study, the necessity of multicultural education and practical measures were presented to increase the multicultural acceptance of Dream Start Center workers.
