Objectives The object of this study is to analysis the effects of the being discriminated on school adjustment among children at community child centers with the double -mediation of depression and self-esteem. Methods The study analyzed secondary data of 438 children who had participated in the 4th survey(2017) of the second-term panel of the children panel data at the community child care center. The SPSS Macro Process was used in analyzing the data. Results First, the experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment. Second, the experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment by the mediation of depression. Third, he experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment by the mediation of self-esteem. Fourth, in regard to the double mediation effect of the two mediators in the study model, it was shown that depression and self-esteem had a double mediation effect. Conclusions Based on these results, this study discusses to promote the school adjustment of children attending community child center.
