초록

This study systematically reviewed research on career barriers perceived by Korean college students. A total of thirty-six empirical studies were analyzed. Higher levels of perceived career barriers were associated with lower career decision levels, reduced career preparation behaviors and career adaptability, and higher employment stress and self-compromise. Lower levels of perceived career-barriers was related to greater reection, higher parental career support, stronger belief in a just world, greater career optimism, and lower brooding. Career barriers aected career decision level and career preparation indirectly through mediators such as career decision-making self-efficacy, career identity, dysfunctional career thinking, career maturity, resilience, and positive psychological capital. Additionally, several factors, including self- ecacy, social support, resilience, growth mindset, and career compromise tendency, moderated these relationships. This review deepens the understanding of career barriers and oers implications for career education.
