Modern people are aware of the necessity of healthy and beautiful hair and have a lot of interest in it. In this study women's awareness of hair care and an effort to provide some information on the right hair care. The subjects in this study were 377 women who were in their 20s and up and resided in Seoul and Daejeon. A survey was conducted to gather data. The collected data were analyzed with a SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 15.0 program. Statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained, and x2(Chi-square) test, frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized. In the result, the largest group of the women investigated found their hair to be in a normal state of health. The majority(70.8%) prioritized preserving hair health over beautiful hair style. The women pointed out chemical elements such as perm, hair dyeing or bleaching and the use of poor-quality hairdressing products as the primary causes of hair damage. and they were mostly cognizant of the necessity of hair care. The largest group(44.6%) never took care of the hair after receiving hair treatment. As for an ordinary hair-care method, 41.9 percent took care of it on their own at home, and 25.7 percent used professional service. Hair Care 32.4% of the women were not at all. Was because of the economic burden. The future of women willing to have hair care was 50%. Their favorite hair-care method was using scalp-care clinics(36.1%), followed by home-care(34.4%).
