FeCo-based amorphous materials have low coercivity, high saturation magnetization, and high permeability. These characteristics make them popular for use in various applications such as inductors, sensors, magnetic heads, electromagnetic cores, magnetic memories, current machines, and motors. This paper aims to explain studies on the quinary alloys in which Nb, Mo, Ta, and Cr are added to the Fe-Co-B-Si alloy known to have good soft magnetic properties, focusing on structural, thermal, and magnetic properties.
