As polarization in our society worsens and class fixation becomes a social problem, young people are expressing their desperate situation with new words such as "spoon class theory" and "Hell Joseon". Therefore, this study considered the need to examine the role and function of class mobility perception in the effect of young people"s subjective class perception on social trust. To this end, this study analyzed the moderating effect using SPSS Process Macro based on the "2023 Social Survey". The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the higher the subjective class perception of the youth generation, the higher the social trust. Second, the higher the class mobility perception of the youth generation, the higher the social trust. Third, the subjective class perception showed a significant moderating effect between social trust and class mobility perception. Fourth, the youth"s participation in donations had a significant effect on social trust. Accordingly, this study discussed the perspectives of the youth on society and the importance of social structure, and suggested related policy intervention directions.
