The purpose of this study is to develop the regional resources of the arts and cultural education classification system, and to suggest ways of using classification system. To do this, The definition, concept, category model, and conceptual model, classification system of regional arts and cultural education resources were established using qualitative research techniques. The classification system based on core components of arts and cultural education consist of contents resources, human resources, institutional resources and venue resources. Contents resources have five large categories(artistic resources, historical resources, living cultural resources, environmental resources and convergent resources). Human resources have two large categories(planners and suppliers, learners). Institutional resources have three large categories(budget, system, agencies). Venue resources have five large categories(cultural facilities, youth training centers, lifelong education facilities etc.). These classification system are useful to analyze and examine the current status of the arts and cultural education. In addition, It can be used as a guide for resource utilization when suppliers(human resources) conduct educational activities.
