초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of The Rejection sensitivity on the relationship between Parenting attitudes and college students’ Interpersonal problems. The subjects of this study were 435 college students in universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The students were assessed with The Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), The Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire(RSQ), and The Short form of the KIIP Circumplex scales (KIIP-SC). The results are showed as follows: There were significant correlations among parenting attitudes, rejection sensitivity and interpersonal problems. Furthermore, The rejection sensitivity had partial mediating effects on the relationships between parenting attitude as ‘care’ and interpersonal problems. Also, the rejection sensitivity had partial mediating effects on the relationships between parenting attitude as ‘overprotection' and interpersonal problems. In conclusion, this study confirmed the partial mediating effects of the rejection sensitivity on the relationships between Parenting attitudes and interpersonal problems.
