초록

This study was conducted to verify the factors affecting the retirement time of baby boomers. In particular, the baby boomers who have been self-employed are highly likely to have a little chance to work when they retired. Therefore, it is necessary to find any policy implications for them by identifying the influential factors which may have an impact on their retirement time. In this study, we used the aging panel data from the 1st survey to 7th survey and conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and regression analysis. In results, it was found that the retirement time of women babyboommers seemed to be earlier than that of men babyboomers, the retirement point of time was mainly influenced by educational qualification, wage level, and job security. We suggested some policy implications for self-employed baby boomers' retirement preparation based on the results.
