초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of social withdrawal, which is one of the most important psychological problems that can be experienced during adolescence, on subjective perception of grades through school adaptation, and to verify the mediated effects of gender additionally. This study used the Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) conducted by the Korea Institute for Youth Policy and Research (KCYPS) in August 2018. Among them, the 7th year year(2016) of 1,671 people excluding the missing values in the 4th grader’s panel, were analyzed. In order to verify the general characteristics of the study subjects, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were conducted. In order to verify the research model, a controlled mediating effect analysis using SPSS PROCESS MACRO was applied. As a result of the research analysis, first, the social withdrawal confirmed the full mediation effect in subjective perception of grades through school adaptation. Second, the adjustment effect of gender was not found in each relationship of social withdrawal, school adaptation, and subjective perception of grades. Third, as a result of analyzing moderated mediation effect, the indirect effect which social withdrawal affect subjective perception of grades by way of school adaptation becomes stronger in female students, which is statistically significant. Based on this, this study suggested the adaptation of adolescents, discussion of social withdrawal that may affect subjective perception of grades, and the necessity of differentiated intervention according to gender.
