Objectives: This study analyzed the impact of early childhood teachers' empathy and communication competence on teacher-parent partnerships and provides basic data to promote the role of cooperative educational community between teachers and parents. Methods: The subjects of this study were 205 early childhood teachers working in B city. Data analysis for this study included descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: Among the empathy competence of early childhood teachers, emotional empathy and communication competence were found to have a significant positive effect on the teacher parent information sharing partnership. Additionally, expressive empathy and communication competence were shown to have a significant positive effect on the teacher parent information seeking partnership. Furthermore, expressive empathy and communication competence also had a significant positive effect on the teacher parent reciprocal relationship partnership. Conclusions: Improving the empathy competence of early childhood teachers and smooth communication between teachers and parents suggests that cooperation between teachers and parents can be improved by better understanding each other's perspectives.
