초록

This study aims to verify whether child care policies responding to a low birth rate society actually affect the care burden of caregivers. For this purpose, data from the 2022 Seoul Welfare Survey were utilized to analyze the impact of care policies on the burden of care for married men and women with children through multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis can be summarized as follows. First, those who used school-age child services had significantly lower care burdens than those who did not. Second, the higher the level of support for care policies felt, the significantly lower the burden of care. Third, the higher the expectations for school-age child services, the higher the care burden was significantly. Fourth, the level of care burden varied depending on the direction of expansion of care policy. Based on the results of this study, this study discussed care policies that are expected to be utilized in the expansion of care policies in the future.
