The purpose of this study was to identify the trends and issues of research on qualifications by using keyword network analysis methodology, and to provide implications for future qualifications researches in the fourth industrial revolution era. 590 research papers published in academic journals in Korea from 2003 to 2017 were mainly selected, and the 1931 keywords of the research were collected. The results of the study were as follows. First, qualification researches were carried out in the vocational education and training as well as specific occupations field. Second, qualification researches had to do with system and policy, qualification type, qualification examination, education and training, effects of qualifications, and etc. Third, the main issues of the researches were the qualifications system, emphasizing the linkage between labor market, job, and training. Finally, The key themes were qualifications systems, national technical qualifications, civil qualifications, national qualifications, qualifications, and qualification standards regardless of time, while policies have been reflected in the study by period.
